Framing at Project Coalesce is wrapping up as the parapet walls, rip strips and soffits have been completed. The massing of the house can really be appreciated now. The two vertical masses (the stair volume and the chimney) ground the house and accentuate the shearing effect of the roof and second floor eaves. The prominent lines of the linear overhangs balance nicely with the deep "carved out" balconies and we are looking forward to seeing the materiality strengthen the design intent.
